CONNIE MEYERS, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Connie joined Maryland Salem Children’s Trust in May of 2018 to serve as Human Resources Director. She was promoted to Executive Director in October of 2019. Previously, she worked as a director at Garrett College for 15 years. Prior to Garrett College, Connie worked for the Garrett County Public School System for 12 years in all grade levels, from Pre-K through high school. Connie has an MBA from Franklin University in Columbus, OH.

CHRIS ATKINSON, EDUCATION DIRECTOR/PRINCIPAL

Chris Atkinson has been working in the field of Special Education for the last 14 years. Chris began his career as a 1:1 before becoming a teacher and ultimately an administrator. Chris received his Bachelor’s in Political Science from University of Maryland University College. He later went on to earn his Master’s degree in Special Education from Frostburg State University. Most recently, Chris attended George Washington University, where he received his Certificate in Educational Leadership. 

PAM FRADISKA, CLINICAL DIRECTOR

Pam holds an AA degree in Human Service, a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology, and a Master’s degree in Social Work from West Virginia University. She is a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) and started her career in the field at an after school program for children struggling to manage their mental health needs in the school setting. Over the past 20 years, she has worked with abused and neglected children, children in foster care, and children with special needs. 

JOHN RHODES, HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR

John is a lifelong resident of Garrett County. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Frostburg State University in 2007. In 2021, he completed his Master’s in Management and Leadership through Western Governor’s University. John has over 10 years of experience in Operations Management and three years of experience in Human Resources.
